Welcome to Postiqo. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service.


1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Your email address (if you register with email/password)
  • Your name and profile picture (if you sign in with Google/YouTube)
  • A unique user ID

YouTube Data

When you connect your YouTube account, we receive and store:

  • Your YouTube channel ID and display name
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens required to publish videos on your behalf

We do not access your YouTube subscription data, watch history, or any data beyond what is necessary to publish videos.

Video Content

Videos you upload are stored securely in AWS S3. We do not analyse, index, or share the content of your videos.

Usage Data

We may log server-side events (errors, API calls) for debugging purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session
  • Upload and publish videos to YouTube on your behalf
  • Display your account name and avatar in the dashboard

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.


3. Data Storage

  • User account data is stored in AWS DynamoDB (EU region).
  • Video files are stored in AWS S3 (EU region) with server-side encryption.
  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest.

4. Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your account data and any stored videos will be removed within 30 days.


5. Third-Party Services

Postiqo integrates with:

  • Google / YouTube — to publish videos. Your use of YouTube is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • AWS — for infrastructure (S3, DynamoDB). AWS is a data processor under our instructions.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS for all connections
  • JWT-signed sessions stored in httpOnly cookies
  • bcrypt password hashing
  • AWS IAM least-privilege policies

No system is completely secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please contact us immediately.


7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (e.g., by disconnecting your YouTube account)
